Shirley was born in Israel and raised on the beaches of southern California before moving to Tuscany.
She is a yoga and mindfulness teacher and a designer. Finding her inspiration in the nature that she constantly seeks out in her travel.
Her work has beengreatly influences by the shapes and sights she has taken in in Hawaii, Bali, Costa
Rica, Japan, Italy, as well as her native California. Her daily meditation and yoga practice greatly informs her work as well as her life. In a high intensity and fast paced world, yoga has always been her favorite tool for dealing with daily challenges. Yoga isn’t something she just does, it is something she lives.

In 2015, Shirley completed a yoga teacher training with Steve Ross and Ish Moranat Maha Yoga in Los Angeles, Later in the year, she completed another 200 hour yoga teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa flow in her beloved Italy with It’s YogaFirenze which, among other things, gave her the opportunity to live in Florence for
several weeks as a visitor rather than a tourist and it has since become her home.
Currently Shirley teaches yoga and meditation in Florence, hosts yoga retreats throughout Tuscany, and spend time with her Italian boyfriend traveling and enjoying the Italian life.

Italians Do It Better

“Courage is my middle name.”
Sophie Charlotte has overcome crippling anxiety disorder by getting into alignment with her true self and doing what she deeply desired: moving from Holland to Florence, Italy. Ever since she’s taken her own leap, she has flourished and has turned into the best version of herself. She’s gone from being an insecure, co-dependent, unaware highly-sensitive girl to a rooted, connected and empowered highly-sensitive woman on a mission of helping others find their truth.

She took another leap of faith by following her soul’s calling setting up her life-coaching business in Italy in 2015. She helps women find the courage to follow their own dream, like moving to Florence, and finally saying yes to themselves. In her Facebook group The YES Woman she brings women together, connects, empowers and supports them so that they too can become the best version of themselves and flourish like never before.

Nadine Ruiter

After years of working in Tourism and living in several countries around the Globe, Nadine found her passion in breathwork and holistic therapies.
“By experiencing my breath, I could experience myself again. It brought me the re-connection with my body, I could let go of tension and emotions that were stored inside for some time, it fully opened my heart, brought deep relaxation, I connected to my power and had some magical experiences…. All this just by deep and full breathing. Simple, natural and so powerful!
From that first session I knew that I wanted to share the healing power of the breath with the world.”
She followed her Transformational Breath training’s and studies, as well as coaching modules.

In the years that followed Nadine shared her workshop “The Breath Journey” in over 6 different countries with passion and great success. Her own experiences and workshops got more depth by following a Yin Yoga teacher training with Sarah Powers. “Here I found relaxation and was able to surrender into whatever there was, being gentle with myself, setting healthy boundaries and getting to know myself even better.”
Additionally a wish of her came true when she studied Maya Abdominal Therapy in the jungle of Belize.
The essence in this modality is Self-Care using ancient and healing techniques of the Arvigo Institute, which can especially support women in their body and their lives.

Professional dancer, choreographer, contemporary and oriental dance teacher. Yoga teacher. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Her interest in the therapeutic benefits of movement pushed her to explore and deepen her understanding of Corporal Awareness, Meditation and Sacral Dances.
Her unique style, so free, intense and expressive, is an organic and creative combination of oriental dance elements, contemporary dance movements (release technique) and dance-theatre.

“Through dance we discover, remember and express our huge creative potential. Dance is an invaluable key to explore ourselves, to listen to ourselves in a different way. Dance allows us to connect with our inner space.
If we experience our dance as a ‘bridge’ between the material world and the invisible world, our body becomes the vehicle of rediscovery and knowledge, and our movement will be infused with a true, authentic and curative meaning.”
